There is specific funding available for people who have been made redundant or who are at risk of redundancy.0

JC are a pain when you ask them to fund a course i completed a highways maintance course last year but i had to fight hard to get put on it.Constant nagging worked for me but i did have to pay for my CSCS card myself though.0

Speak to your local FE College about your options. They will have an IAG (Information, Advice & Guidance) team who will normally be available any time the college is open. Don't usually need an appointment, maybe look on the website or call them.0
