As an update for anyone who is interested, we never heard back off Nationwide for AIP- either accept or decline! Very poor service either way. Although we were told the question was 'in the last 6 years' as opposed to 'ever'.
However we proceeded with the Halifax and it has been fully approved - hope for anyone who has an IVA and will eventually want a mortgage.I am employed as a manager in a financial services institution. My views are entirely my own.0 -

FWIW we got an email from our Nationwide BDM recently, which read;-
so it sounds like they are trying to reduce their exposure to this type of business.Bankruptcy – change to policy
Please note that effective immediately, it is now unlikely that any discharged bankrupts will be considered where the time since their discharge is less than 3 years.
