charging orders where to start

Hi
I went through a bad patch with debt several years ago and ended up with multiple ccj's totalling about 30k(all now over 6 years old) none are paid fully and i am still paying them (about 350 a month). (I am paying the ones that contacted me)
I have just done a land registry search and found i have 6 charging orders from 5 different companies.
I want to move (and get a new mortgage) and will have about 20k of equity to pay the orders with, however i have also been fortunate in receiving a sizeable lump sum from an inheritance (50k) - what i want to do is pay my creditors the least amount of money possible to enable me to move on debt free.
I don't even know who owns which debt - i might even be paying the same debt to 2 different companies!
Is there any way of discovering what i owe - my experian report does not show any debt (as its over 6 years old).
Can anyone recommend a reputable service that would help? (And that would not adversely effect my credit rating)
Thanks for your patience reading through my debt story - and thanks in advance for any help you can give.

I don't see why you would want to pay a firm to sort this out.
Make a list of the CCJs. Then make a list of the charging orders. Then make a list of the firms that have contacted you. Match them up. When in doubt, start phoning them up and asking.
It shouldn't be that hard. Firms that have charging orders will not usually sell the debt on.
You have enough money to clear the remaining debts in full. Easy.0 -
