Hi everyone,
I've posted here quite a few times since I went BR on 6/9/2013 & really appreciate all the advice iv'e been given so far, I'd just like to ask a question, has anyone else not had much communication from their OR? I'm now 7 months into my BR & apart from the usual paperwork I had to sign & send back at the start I have had no communication with him. Admittidly I don't have any assets such as owning my own house or car & am on ESA benefits due to bad health, I remember ringing the OR a few weeks in as I hadn't been contacted regarding an interview & he just said there was no reason for an interview at that stage???? Do i just keep my head down & wait for AD on 6/9/2014? I know that ED has been done away with as such, any advice gratefully received, thanks.:(

If you have done all you have been asked to do (sending paperwork etc) - then I wouldn't worry. Just sit tight and wait is all you can do. If your income is benefits then there will be no IPA and if you have no assets, there's nothing for them to realise for the creditors. The OR is in much the same position as you - I don't suppose there is much they can do either really except wait for AD.0

I had no contact from the OC except a letter at the end of the three years to say I didn't have any payments left to make.0

Hi CB
As there are no income payments being made in your bankruptcy, there's no way for the OR to recover anything from you towards any costs they rack up - so they will probably plan to do as little as is strictly necessary. Nothing out of the ordinary, and you're now into the second half of your bankruptcy period - not long now!

Dennis

Hi Christmas
I was having similar thoughts re lack of contact from OR (though I don't want to tempt fate).
I'm in a similar situation re benefits as sole income.
Thanks for asking the question.

Don`t worry this is perfectly normal, if they need anything they will contact you but I highly doubt you will hear anything from them now.:pB&SC No. 298

No news is good news.....unless you suddenly come into money from a lottery win, relative that's passed etc- they can't ask much of you.0
