Santander buy to let mortgage rates

just had a frustrating conversation with Santander rate line!!
Basically I have a residential mortgage on SVR at 4.74%
All I wanted to know was if I decide to change my mortgage to buy to let, what the rates might be if I tied myself into a new deal. Sounds pretty reasonable??
My response was....pay £295 to change it over and we'll tell you!!
Anybody here perhaps know the buy to let rates?? or perhaps another provider I could go to as I just want to know some rates should I decide to rent out. I am not tied into Santander so that isn't a problem...
thanks in advance.

May be better deals available away from Santander.
How much is the property worth? How much do you need to borrow? How much rent per month?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
