hello
how much do sonographers make?
I see they can have locum contracts for 50GBP per hour, which is extreme amount
but do they have sufficient hours? or minimum guaranteed hours? and how many?
any hint from the inside?
thanks!

Anyone thinking of responding, I suggest you check out the op's previous threads... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

I wasn't sure if you were actually asking what one was or were asking the question in disbelief for a minute lol0 -
A sonographer is the technician who handles ultrasounds.
All of the information the OP is after would be better directed at a specific organisation, I assume there is one for them which google will find.0 -
Most medical-related professions - including sonography, I believe - insist that you are registered with the professional body for healthcare, the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). If you are not registered with the HCPC I suspect you will find it very difficult, if not impossible, to find employment as a sonographer so, if you haven't contacted them already, OP, I think that's a very good place to start - they should also be able to advise you on things like job opportunities, salaries, any further training / registration you might need... all the things you've been asking about, really.

Hope that's helpful!Back after a very long break!0 -
had contacted their association in the past, and got no reply
