Can anyone help me with understanding tax please!?
I have recently been told I am a higher tax payer and therefore choldcare voucher allowance has gone down and I dont understand why.
When did you enrol for the Childcare Voucher scheme? If you enrolled after April 2011, then you only get basic rate tax relief and will not qualify for higher rate relief, which may explain why you have not seen the additional benefit you were not expecting now that you have become a higher rate tax payer.
