If I need to share, I do so by hitting the twitter button. Whilst I get the extra entry, it doesn't seem to show on my twitter feed.

Also although it says you can only share for 3 extra entries, you actually get as many extra entries as you share, so if you share 6 comps on one mag you will get 6 extra entries to use, useful for In Style that has a lot of comps running but only 6 standard entries.
2014 wins - Jan - Series 3 of Trollied on DVD, Anchorman 2 goodies - Feb - Sushi Making Lesson for 1, £25 Pick Me Up Sudoku

It means that for each competition you share, you can get up to 3 entries by sharing via Twitter / FB / email for each one.

So say (unlikely but just say) there were 40 competitions running on Look and you wanted to enter 27 of them, one way of getting your 21 extra comps would be to share 7 of them 3 times.
Or you could just share every one you entered by FB.
    There are numerous permutations.

I think you only get additional entries if someone clicks on your shared link and enters the comp.

I used to do the tweet shares and earned a few extra entries, but felt it wasn't worth the effort and stopped doing it.

No that's not it, I never share anything publicly and I still get the extra entries. If I share via FB I set it to only me, and if I share via email I send it to my own other email address. So nobody could ever click on my links, yet I still get the bonus entries.

the confusion is arising over the wording, there are no circumstances in which you get 2, 3 or 4 entries into one competition. The only thing you do get is the chance to enter more comps once each.

I don't think you're daft - I thought the same for ages when I first started comping :D until I decided to ask in here.

I should probably put something about it in the mag dailies thread because I think a lot of people think they're getting extra entries into each individual comp, but I don't know how to word it so it makes sense :o
