Lionbridge unsuccessful email then contracts?

Options
Hi, I applied for all of the current available Lionbridge positions last night (trying to cover all my options!). This morning I got a "sorry but you were unsuccessful" email, ok I thought, move on. Then 30 mins later I got another email asking me to log in and sign all the forms, non-disclosure etc and I was suitable for one of their tasks. I have done so but now wondering what the???

Not sure what you're asking here?! You applied for multiple positions, got rejected for one of them, then got offered a chance to test for another. Where's the issue?

The only thing I was wondering about is how you managed to apply for EVERYTHING. Don't they make you use a different email address for each application? Well, I suppose things could've changed since I last did it.. :D
  • I used the same email for all of them. I wasn't sure if they were all just different names for the same job hence wondering why I was rejected then accepted. If I've been rejected for one and accepted for one if the others then it makes more sense :)
  • If you they find you acceptable, they will schedule exam for you, which you must pass in order to get in.

Oh, OK. The last time I applied with them, the website would only accept a certain email address once, and the whole process was also quite time-consuming..

Looking back at the rejection email I got last year, it doesn't actually refer to the name of the position that I applied for. Which I suppose could be confusing if you applied for more than one.. For the one I was accepted for, it did state the name of the role though.
