I did this when the offer was 4.99 for 7 issues and a free diary - I have to say it was well worth it even at the more expensive offer. I used five issues and then because I cancelled it well in advance so I didnt get the last two issues (only cus I was paranoid about being charged the full amount) they refunded me £2.30 without me even asking. So I got a very nice diary and five issues of timeout for £2.70 - a big thumbs up!I've made my debts bite-size too depressing to look at all at once so am handling them one at a time - first up Graduate Loan £1720 paid off! only £280 to go!!!
Money to raise for tuition fees: £3000
When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on!!0 -

Lets hope i remember to cancel the DD in about 12 weeks time.

I got this offer when it was £5 for 13 issues, but I did at least get a free book (Cloud Atlas) for my extra £4.01.
If you do want to continue to get Time Out when the offer expires, don't just continue to pay the DD - cancel it and subscribe again with this offer:

£49.99 for a whole year (would be £97.50 with DD).0 -
Hi.....
I took up a similar offer a few months back and agree it can be a bargain.
Just a word of warning though, Time Out kindly print your registration number and website with password on the front sheet of the issue. This info coupled with your name and address is dangerous I think.
As a test, I got a friend to go to the website, enter my password - hey presto - they were able to redirect issues, cancel issues, view my personal mobile number & home telephone number.
I contacted Time Out regarding this security concern and they responded by saying that although this was an initial concern of theirs, as no bank details were visible on the site they had decided to include the password info on the front of the delivery.
I like Time Out mag and have no axe to grind so I'm sorry if I've been a party pooper - just thought people should be aware of this just in case!
I was going to paste in the response from Time Out on this - but not sure if I would get into trouble...0
