Bank won't refund my unathorised transaction
Hi sorry guys this is a long one! Basically the other day I noticed I'd had 190 pounds taken out my bank without my permission I contacted my bank which is barclays and they told me that money had been taken by loan company's (loan brokers fee) such a smile finance and places I'd never heard of and because I have had a previous loan with QuickQuid there was nothing they could do to get me my money back and I'd have to talk to quick quid myself, which I did. I contacted them and they told me that they had not passed on any of my information and that my loan was secure and they are an independent company, I logged all this and kept it as evidence I then got back in contact with my bank but they are still refusing to help saying it's to do with quick quid or I've applied for loans that I haven't, does anyone have any advice on what I could do? I've read online websites such as the fsa who say that unless anything can be proved that it was you, the bank have to refund you immediately? I don't have any idea who these company's are and have only had dealings with quickquid

Apart frm smile finance who else took the money ?
Smile say they only take £47.96.
You could write to them stating you request a refund as you didnt request it and give them so long to refund you.
Smile finance are a broker so they take your money in the promise of a loan.
Cant help with " I've read online websites such as the fsa who say that unless anything can be proved that it was you, the bank have to refund you immediately "
FSA is replaced by the FCA.0 -
Also a company called my loan took money too0

Contact each brokerage firm (either in writing, email or telephone) who took out a payment and request a refund. The good news is if they didn’t find you a loan, which means you did not take out one of the loans they recommended you then you are entitled to this fee back. They may however keep a £5 admin fee0
