Those dandelion clocks keep me and my dog entertained lol. I blow them and he chases after them. There are loads of dandelion plants in our garden.
Do you think it's possible to make some variation of dandelion & burdoch? I love that drink but it's so expensive!
I have loads of buttercups and daisies in the garden too and these purple and yellow flowers. I'll have to have a look and see what they are and see if they can be used. Ooh how exciting this is going to be, getting in to the spirit of foraging for food
My only worry is getting my wild mushrooms mixed up and bringing home some of the "magic" variety lol£5 a day challenge ~ May £56.72/£155 July £125/£1550 -
You can eat nettles raw as long as they're well pulverized. Raw nettles mashed in a mortar and pestle make an interesting pesto and this morning I had a raw nettle 'green smoothie' courtesy of my Nutribullet. Once the leaves are bashed around a bit the stings become harmless.0
