^^^^ That is all well and good but he should contribute to the children he brought into this world....disabled or not, he has responsibilities. He wasn't so disabled he wasn't able to jump into bed and get jiggy......
How very naïve of you.
1) Disabilities come in all shapes and sizes.
2) He is contributing
3) If that's the way you look at it then you can also argue that the OP was silly to fall pregnant, twice, with a disabled person who, In your eyes, wouldn't be able to support her or the kids.0 -
^^^^Now what are you talking about? How dare you twist my words. I in no way suggested the OP should not have married and had children with a disabled man. That is a load of crock and you know it.
The OP said he doesn't spend it on anything care related...and even if he did he should know that kids don't cost £7 a week to raise and should be giving more regardless of what the csa calculator says.

It is pointless to argue about his possible situation. The OP has been given the facts re what the ex will be expected to pay. I don't think it is for us to make judgements because we can't possibly know the situation. He could have become disabled relatively recently or his condition could have worsened after the children were born, who knows. Sometimes life is just not fair and quite honestly it doesn't sound as if there are any winners in this situation. Thank you Lovetoread for your wise words about disability, as you say there are many people whose needs and difficulties may not be obvious to others.0

You're absolutely right, justontime. It's unfair to assume without knowing the situation inside out.0
