Has anyone used this?
I'm about to buy an electric bike from Halfords for £1000 and just wanted to confirm that the 10% discount you get from joining British cycling would apply.
Cheers

Yes, I've used it. You can call them to get an electronic version of the discount to use immediately (they post out the voucher usually).
Also consider using Quidco or similar, which pays cash-back on Reserve and Collect purchases for additional discount.
If your employer runs some sort of employee discounts scheme (eg NHS Discounts) you may also be able to purchase Halfords vouchers at a discount and use those to pay for a further saving.
I used all 3 (10% discount, 3% cashback and something like 5-10% saving on voucher purchase) without problem on a purchase last year.0 -

If you dont need it straight away i would suggest waiting a few weeks, halfords often have special offers running, and easter would be a likely time for them to have one. So you could get even more discount.
also if you are buying instore, then Quidco will give you cashback if you register your card, halfords is one of the places that allows the cashback from instore purchases0 -
I'll be buying right after Easter. Halfords just dropped the EBCO Eagle back down to £1300 (from £1600) but I'm buying the UCR30, which I haven'y seen them drop before. Its probably worth the wait just in case.
Many thanks

I cant post links but do a search on the hot uk deals website for "22% OFF any purchase at Halfords"
its long winded but saves you money.0 -
If you log into the BC website you can get a voucher to print off yourself. You can also get it on top of the webprice, which is sometimes cheaper than instore. So do a click and collect order to get the web price then present your voucher to get 10% off. You must show your BC membership card.0
