I'm in agreemebt with consultant31 with regards to size. I am a size 8 and I buy US11. I do have a pair of US10 and sometimes my toe does touch the top. That said my US11 and US10 look to be the size if you put them side-by-side. I believe sizes fluctuate between factories too.

I can relate to that ethansmum, as there didn't seem to be much difference between the US 10 and 11 when I tried them on and my toe did the same in each. I thought it was more a case of wearing a slip on type of shoe and feeling until you are used to them one always lifts your toes (sorry sounds daft but I know I do it :D !) Will look again and decide later - possibly order the 10 as I dont feel they are much off the right size and can always order an 11 when getting another pair.....isnt that what croc wearers do....build up a range of colours;) .

    Thanks for comments.

Himself & I have a pair of genuine Crocs each - nearly £30- a pair, ouch! But they're terrific, comfy, hardwearing, etc., - I have a 'berber' pair for the garden, £4-, & certainly inferior, but I can't say the Crocs r 7x better! I'm considering Sassaris or Croc wellies with my birthday money

I bought my younger daughter (23) the Georgie Wellies for Christmas - she put them on straight away and wore them most of the day. They looked very odd at the bottom of a slinky skirt I can tell you :rotfl: :rotfl:

Also bought one daughter the pink camo Mary Janes from Taylors and the other daughter the blue flower Mary Janes - they were both delighted and I have to say, they're really nice in those colours.

Familyfitz - I think you'll be ok with the size you've ordered. I was thinking you meant you'd gone for the US womens size 8 which I'm sure would have been too small for your UK 7½ feet, but you meant the mens 8/womens 10, so they should be good. I'm a UK 7 and wear the US m7/w9.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

You'll find a conversion table here under each category of Crocs which gives UK, USA and European sizing but do be aware that sometimes there are differences in the sizes depending on what country the Crocs are made in.

    http://www.crocs.eu/shop/step1/index.php?shopcategory=all&Itemid=0&lang=EN

I'm sure on one of the Crocs sites there is a template that you can print out and put your foot on to work it out but I can't find it right now.

As regards the American sizing basically you need to remember that you are the mens size :)

Consultant31 - dont think I was clear before....I am prob UK 7.5 and ordered UK 8 & 9 from Next so am thinking UK 8 are best (i.e. on sole says M8/W10) so think that might be inline with what you are saying....I think:D . Thanks for the warning and let me know if you still think I have got it wrong....always look to the experts for advise!

I'm a UK 7.5 and have two pairs of Crocs, one a size M7/W9 and the other a M8/W10. I wore the smaller pair all summer, but if I used the heel strap then my toe touched the inside of the shoe and it wasn't totally comfortable. They were fine with the straps folded up out the way though. I wanted to wear socks with Crocs over the winter (I knit wooly socks, the jazzier the better!) so got a pair of M8/W10s for this purpose. They fit fine with socks and the straps both up and down, but feel a bit loose with bare feet.

Moral of tale? Go bigger rather than smaller, if you have to make a choice.
    Val.
