Could you tell me are Mammoths similar to Caymans or Beach? Also do they have a strap at the back or are they slip on. I take a UK 7/US9 and am trying to figure out the size but also the strap 'cos I like the strap on my Caymans.
Thanks if you can help.Grant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can and the wisdom to know it's me"0 -
No strap at the back but slightly higher at the back than Beach or Cayman although similar shape. I went with my normal size UK6 US8 and while they seemed slightly small when I first put them on they soon eased into shape.
Although they are slip on with no strap because of the lining there is no feeling of walking out of them. I have to say, had I thought, I would probably have got the black as the fur is black and the oatmeal fur does get dirty from the bottoms of your trousers.0 -

I'm glad about that
I wear my caymans with the strap so am glad the back is higher up.
I have ordered boring but pratical Black Mammoths for the winter :j :jSometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
Hi
I am hoping to get a pair of Mammoths for Christmas. I was hoping to get the new croc boots but after realising they were $299 I have changed my mind and have decided to go for something similar to this (see link), not at all croc like but I think they are smart, what do you think?

You know that is one of the best things about Crocs, its my mission in life to embarrass my teen and Crocs are the best way to do it, that and dancing in the supermarket :j0

I have ordered a pair of mammoths from Taylors as I wear my crocs at home all the time but they are getting a bit chilly, even with socks. I tried to order black but had to get khaki as no black left. Ist order from Taylors so hope it goes okay.0

Taylors seem to be an excellent firm, I've had 4 orders from them over the last year and been lucky in that I've never had to pay customs duty on them. They have taken about 2-3 weeks from the date of ordering to arrive, so not too bad.
I love my mammoths, but must admit to having "aromatic" feet. The fur keeps my toes snuggly warm, but I think 'm going to have to wash them every few daysI let my mind wander and it never came back!0
