Hi - I ordered two pairs of crocs (khaki mammoths and grape Alices) from Taylors on the 22nd September to come via priority mail international. The only thing showing on the tracking is that they left Chicago on the evening of the 25th. This shows on both the USPS and Parcelforce sites. This seems like a long time to me? Are they lost or stopped by customs - what does anyone reckon? Should I contact Taylors?
I ordered some Ugg boots and some mamoths on the 21st September. I registered on the tracking site to receive emails at various parts of their journey. They arrived in the country on 25th went in and out of customs with 4 hours and then on Friday 28th I got a letter asking for a customs payment so i rang paid this and have received my delivery today. I havent used the tracking system before so not sure how long they usual get stopped in customs but at least my dates give you a bit of a comparison. I think I would maybe contact Taylors and ask what they think as they are very helpful

Thanks Quakers. I asked ages ago if someone who had the Alice's could post a photo of them wearing them to get an idea of real size but no responses.

Anyway, I have a cunning and moneysaving trick to keep crocs looking all nice and shiny (haven't seen it posted by anyone else)! Rather than getting the butter, I tried rubbing a bit of olive oil on my black MJ's and they've come up all lovely and properly back again. Have worn them out this evening and so far they are still looking good. I thought I'd use olive oil so I didn't smell like a chip shop if my feet got a bit hot and warmed the oil up!

USPS wasn't updating for a week - mine left the seller on 17th Sept. Left the US on the 19th Sept & only this morning Parcelforce has changed to International Hub. (Bl00dy long time!)

I assume that USPS had a computer glitch & that Customs are bogged down. Keep checking - yours almost certainly aren't lost but there seems to be a backlog at the min! Would have thought Parcelforce would get them by the weekend or just after...

Perhaps they came on the same plane - mine have now cleared customs, fingers crossed with no charges. Might get them in time to give to my OH to give me for my birthday on Thursday yet...

Actually thats USD15 or about £7.50 sterling.

As the crocs tend to cost in USD approx what they cost in sterling over here at the most the Taylors price works out the same as ordering in the UK for an individual pair.

I had a look at the site you suggest but the range is a bit limited compared to Taylors - no mammoths or alices which is what I am waiting for. In fact not even any Mary Janes. Some nice discounts though.

Its interesting that my Crocs from Taylors arrived within a week using the basic posting compared to the length of time it seems to be taking using priority shipping.

Mine left the US within 2 days - the prob was with Customs at this end not touching the parcel!!!!! It's been sitting at the airport waiting to be checked since 20th September! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
