I used ordinary first class shipping from Taylors and had no problems.0

I need a pair of mammouths and was upset to get a letter from Look at my crazy shoes to say there has been a delay!
Have also been looking on next web site, which has let me put them in my bag and then said 2-3 weeks delivery, now it says sold out in my size!
So thinking I may have to order from Taylors.
But will I get stung for customs charges? Thinking of buying 3 pairs, 1 for me and 1 each for my boys plus some Jibbets, are Jibbets post free? and using the cheapest shipping option.
Thanks0 -

Jibbitz. Taylors told me yesterday that they don't put a price on the crocs so you shouldn't get caught for customs charges/tax. Unless of course you order a whole box full
.
I woke up to an email telling me my crocs can't be delivered in timeso I've had to order via website. Now changed to khaki cos I think the candy pink will look a little silly being walked around in the rain and cold!

I have just had another email from Taylors - beginning to get worried that my name is too well known!
Anyway Mike has advised that:
"The Mammoths are made in China so I would recommend a larger size when factoring in the fur lining".
Yesterday I was told the fur flattens and you don't need to order a larger size. So now I am very.
Anyone who has Mammoths already please can you look at where they were made and let me know if you feel you should have ordered a larger size?? Thank you!
One very confused MSE who only wanted a pair of Mammoths :rolleyes:0 -
Updated email from Mike at Taylors:
I had one of my team members here try on both the Mammoth and the Cayman from China in her size and she had extra room in the Cayman but said she would prefer larger in the Mammoth
Is that not contradictory???0 -
As I said before re Mammoth sizing: I have actually worn socks with the red ones too but they're a lot more snug than the blue ones. I think if they vary that much it will be pot luck how well they fit frankly... I'm a UK 7 who bought 7 9 s so probably you'd be okay with your normal size but if you have wide feet or a very high instep I'd go a size up. Having now worn socks with mine I'm very pleased with them. My red ones got a sockless outing to Asda today and I still seem to be the only one in my local area with them yet!Hi
I bought red & blue mammoths, both Chinese but they really vary in size. My red ones are fairly snug. They're comfortable but I'm not sure they would be if I tried to wear socks unless they were really thin ones or tights. My blue ones are much wider, my mum can wear these but doesn't get near the red ones. The blue ones I could wear socks with quite easily. I would say that if you intend to just wear them get your normal size, but intending to wear them with socks go a size up.
Or buy your size & the size up and Ebay whichever pair end up being spare... At Taylors prices that works out okay and you might even end up with a nearly free pair of Mammoths!;)0 -
OOooo haven't got my mammoths yet, but I bet they feel ace without socks0

Thanks Bakerfa. My sister wants a pair for Christmas now so I'm going to add her ones onto my order. I think what you say about ordering a size sounds a good idea. I hope I get away with three pairs and no customs charges.
EDIT:
Can I just say if you order from www.mycrazyshoes.com and have a Quidco account please remember to go through them as they pay 5% cashback.0 -
got my mammouths from next yesterday. I am a six 6 wide fitting and ordered normal size, they are too small for me......Will have to return for a bigger size as not much hope of getting my feet into them with socks come winter.Jan Grocery challenge

Been wearing Crocs ALL summer and was dreading the winter days coming but, I got a pair of cold-weather 'filled-in' Crocs and they are brilliant!! (think they're called Endeavour) My g/f got a couple of pairs sent from USA but they are too big!!, So i'll be putting them on Ebay if anyones interested! Found them great for work too. G/f's new ones (the right size this time) are amazing cos shes on her feet all day as a hairdresser. Cant wait for the new styles coming out.0
