  • As a great fan of crocs, long before they were fashionable, I now have 5 pairs.
Today is my birthday and I live with 2 male teenagers and darling hubby. None of whom understand woman.
However today they handed me a birthday present. A pair bright pink croc type boots, along with the words
"Happy Birthday Mum, thought you might find these handy when you are watching us play football/rugby/cross country running.
I have never seen these before and am wearing them as we speak, not sure how warm they will be. Just thankful they are not bright Yellow as they would look like Bannana boots.
Dont know how to insert picture but have put link in instead

I REALLY want a pair of those.

I wanted those before I wanted croc shoes but I've only ever seen pics & not seen them in 'real life'.

How high do they come up your leg?

Are they as comfy as crocs?

Are they sizes pretty much the same? What size are you normally & what size have you got?

OMG - so many questions - sorry :o never met anyone who's got them :)

    I really want a red pair :)

Well, I really really want a purple or lilac pair but they dont make them :rotfl:

  • Yes they are wonderful.
I am a bit of a fat old bird and they are generous around my calfs, eiether that or they stretched. I take a 5 in normal crocs but these are marked at med, and are wonderful.
Hubby says a friend picked them up for him on his travels. Friend is away so dont know were he got them, however sister has spent entire afternoon searching internet, you can get them in purple (dark lilac at a push).Bad news is everyone seems to be out of stock
They are sort of mid calf height on me, cant find tape measure to give you accurate size, but will look in the morning.

dont go measuring on my behalf - mid calf is good enough for me :D

Is that a UK 5 that you take in Crocs?

oooo, I must resist a pair of welligogs until Santa brings me some.

*unless I sell my husband on Ebay*:D

I've seen a woman in bright pink Georgies out walking her dog round here, and they do look good! I'd like some red ones (to pacify the inner child!) :D

  • My uk crocs are a 5 and these just state medium, they are a little bit bigger but will be great with football socks. Just done something really naughty and bought a red pair, from website below and went through quidco for cashback

Still wearing them, kids are horrified they think they should not be worn outdoors.

I have a pair of Georgies (the boots!) and I love them. I use them for dog walking and they are the best thing I have every worn! They keep your feet warm when its cold and cool when its hot, you can walk for hours and they dont hurt at all.
I am a size 6 uk and wear a size 9 boot. They come to aboout mid calf.... lower than normal welly boots.
    I highly recommend them!

Not seen these croc shoe covers before. Not sure if I like them or not

Has anyone got them and do they look like you've just been busy with the glue and sticky back plastic or not?
    :smileyhea
  • buy those sticky sandals much more fun and as they are new people love them. Everyone got crocs now so it is old fashion

    Bought mine from www.nakedsole.com

Other companies that sell them are beachmonkey and nude sandal

I dont like those. It kind of hides the crocs.
