Loan Company information

has anybody got information on a company called "Nucleus Misc Accounts Bournemouth GB"?
This company has been used at a point of sale terminal to deduct sums from my account - Bank can't tell me who the company is.
I suspect it may be something like a car loan since there are 6 deductions around £750 followed by 1 deduction of £250. I then closed the account to prevent further deductions.

Did you get them reversed first back to your account as unauthorised transactions?

That would be easy to check. Have you had a loan to purchase a car? What does the agreement say?

Are you querying the name of the company or that the deductions are in error? I think if it were the latter you'd have had a different response from your bank.

No I have no Loans - somebody used a debit card apparently issued to my account. I haven't bought a car, but it looks like somebody else has and put it on my account!

If there are further withdrawals made by using this card they could reopen this account. You should dispute them.

Hopefully your card wasnt physically used in a chip & pin machine.

If it wasnt your bank will dispute and refund the money, if it was you are going to have a problem!!
