At Somerfield supermarket in Annan and at Lockerbie (don't know if the offer is Scotland-wide), if you spend £20 in the store (or in the petrol station shop), you get 10 pence off every litre of petrol, up to 100 litres max. Tesco offers on the TV look good but you have to spend £50 to get 5 pence off. In Dumfries and Galloway unleaded petrol is around 97.9 pence; 10 pence discount is fantastic

Just in case anyone travels to take advantage of this offer - you must have spent the £20 in the Local store, i.e. Lockerbie store for discount at Lockerbie petrol station.
Maybe has something to do with new Tesco in Lockerbie! Anyone want to take bets on how long Somerfield will last? Heard complaint in petrol station other day - grocery prices have gone up.
