DMP annual review

Hi Guys


Im currently in a DMP with StepChange and my first annual review was due yesterday and I only have 3 payments left to make before im debt free. Anyway, the problem is that while on my DMP I took out more credit I know I shouldn't have done it but I was desperate and took out a payday loan.


Im due to pay that back next week and can afford to pay it no problem, but im worried that when I do my review with StepChange they will find out about this. Will they cancel my DMP? Im so close to the end and really don't want anything to happen now. Do reviews have to be carried out?

You could contact to them to say as you only have 3 payments left its probably not worth doing a review.

If you do a review you could tell them or not about the payday loan.

If they do cancel your DMP then you can just self-manage your last 3 payments (that is pay your creditors the same amount yourselves direct).
