£50 for the month. Help!!!!

Options
Just finished my maternity leave at my job & have now left. Hopefully by the end of the month we will be entitled to some help & be a bit better off, or we'll find a way to cut expenses if not. But this month after bills, formula, nappies & wipes we have £50 leftover for food. We have a 9month old who eats what we eat at lunch time & dinner time, so we try to avoid buying cheap, economy value food if possible.
Any help would be gratefull!!
What recipies will go far & be cheap. I have some stuff in freezer & cupboards. I have a slow cooker.
Yesterday we had lentil bake & we froze the leftover & tonight we're having sausage casserole.
Thankyou!!!!!

    What do you have in?
    Can we have a list?
I was in a similar situation in October, but we managed with lots of help from the folk on here!
I generally spend £25 a week on food so it should be fairly east if you have freezer/cupboard stock :)

Id try to cook from scratch so you know what's in it for your 2yo.
My 3 yo generally eats what we eat though.

I'm not great with pork as we don't eat it but there's at least 5 meals there.

Risotto with long grain rice is lovely, you only need chopped onion, garlic, some stock and whatever veggies you like (peas or Broccoli I use)

Where do you shop? I would try aldi or lidl for the next couple of weeks to see if you find it a lot cheaper. Sit and Do a meal plan, you know what you will all eat etc.

Can you clarify the end of the month. This month (2 weeks)? or next month 6 weeks?

I would spend a large part on milk, bread, eggs flour probably potatoes. I just bought 12.5kg potatoes in Morrisons for £3.49 - they should last ages as in their own earth but I also found guidance on freezing on line as chips/mash etc.
