Hi wanted to let you know I opened a regular saving account with Yorkshire B.S today...they will open to discharged br and did not even want to see proof.
They will also do contents insurance without asking the dreaded....has anyone in your household ever been br?

Great to hear! ...at the risk of repeating myself, don't forget - Credit Unions open savings accounts even for un-discharged BR's - not lining the pockets of shareholders is good in my book

Hi Gardener
As an undischarged BR, if I open a savings account with a credit union- won't the OR see the money as disposable income???0 -
Not if its money you have allocated for holiday , mot, etc. Also don't let it build up to a few thousand then the OR may have issue.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

No...[if as tigerfeet says above]....the OR agrees with you over your living expenditure.
But the OR has no interest in how you use that allowance..or on what. No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......0
