Chlorine eating my swimming costume

You could use a dechlorinator (Sodium Thiosulphate) solution to rinse the costume out when home.
The easiest available are from aquarium shops or online, these also contain treatment for chlorimine that is added to tap water but not necessary for your use.
A cheaper option is this:

I swim 4-5 times a week and am very lazy about doing anything to my costume. I shower in it, wrap it in a towel and hang it to dry when I get home. It hardly ever gets a wash. I think I've had it about a year now: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Tweka-Rita-Swimsuit-14-Black/dp/B00FGOZ5XW/ref=sr_1_41?ie=UTF8&qid=1397005378&sr=8-41&keywords=tweka. . .I did not speak out
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me..

We used to buy endurance swimsuits when the kids were in a club.
I think they were by speedo.
The suits with a higher ratio of Elastane in lasted better IIRC. I think it was 40% Elastane or better if you could find it but that was quite a while ago.0 -
I seen in the news the other week that Zoggs.com are releasing an Aqualast range of swimwear. It's chlorine resistant and it's meant to last for life. So that maybe is your solution? If I remember rightly, it was either out late Aug, early sep. Hope that is a good solution for you0

I agre with most comments on here two children both train around 15 hrs per week. I buy speedo or maru, go for end of season lines to save money. Mine rinse them out and then I was on a sport wash as soon as they get home. Costumes and Jammers last then around 6-9 mnths.0
