HELP please bankruptcy I'm confused

hi,
Any advice would be really great.
I currently have a appointment for bancruptcy on 15th of august, ihave debts of around £26,000.
I have spoken to National debt line who have told me that bancruptcy is a very valid option,i have no assets.
Having spoken to cccs today i feel very confussed as she recommends a DMP saying i have a surpulus income of £393 pounds to pay to my creditors,i dont have that, she worked on the basis of food and toiletries for 2 adults and 3 children is £93 per week as i don't really know a figure as i have lived off credit for so long do you thing this is the right amount or could it be more,i also have a cat aswell and he is around £15.00 a week alone.
Christmas and birthdays for a family of 5 she put down at £35 a month thats not a lot.
There is only myself alone going bankrupt would it be reccomended to have my wages/tax credits paid into my partners account as i am not sure about opening a bank account before or after BR as there are lots of different views.
Also things like gas/electric bills would it be ok to transfer into my partners name.
I also have a holiday half paid for abroad early next year how would this be looked on,would i need to say about,my children are really looking forward to it.
thanks lisa
I will try to post my SOA when i can

What on earth are you feeding it on! I've got an enormous German Shepherd and 4 cats who cost less than that!

well why you ask he is a growing kitten and eats 4 pouches a day (28 a week at around 35p each plus his dry food and cat milk and his cat litter at around £4.00 for the week making it around £15,he will not eat tinned food.
    thanks lisa

Four pouches a day? Our fully grown cat doesn't eat that much.

Cat milk is a con, it's there to fleece the stupid. There's nothing special about it. Give the moggy water.

Give him a complete food instead of pouches and died food. We give ours Oscar Premium Agility. A bag costs £9 and lasts a cat a month. There's no need to give them anything else other than that.

And as for not eating tinned food...just put tinned food out. If he won't eat it, take it away and present it again later. Believe me, when he's hungry enough, he'll eat it. You're just catering to his fussiness. We ended up with a poodle from an old lady which apparently wouldn't eat dog biscuits. That lasted all of 2 days and now it doesn't care.
