That's easier said than done, 0 hour contracts cost of living through the roof it's tough out their. So just living from week to week to keep your head above water, so is that what you mean by 'living within your means'

It means spending less than you earn. Yes, that can mean going without luxuries, but that's rather the point about luxuries, isn't it, they are things that you don't need.

We all know banks are basically run by spivs and shysters, but we are stuck with them anyway.

Barclays are no better or worse than the others, they are all hacking up their fees (I assume they need the money to pay all the fines and refunds for all their previous mis-selling).

There may be some argument about them charging debtors, but they con us all ways by paying pitiful rates on savings as well - heads they win, tails we lose.

My system now is to get a 0% purchase credit card, that also pays cash back, use it to the end, and then pay it in one hit - after saving for it in one of their savings accounts. Then, close the card, and get another.

That way, they are paying me to use their money, via cash back and whatever interest I get on the savings, and I am paying them nothing.

I wish someone would stop the cosy bank cartel we have though, and regulate them properly to try and halt their profiteering.

    Lin :(
You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)
