Dental Bridges

Ok This is the only health related forum I could find this is not about treatment as such but about the cost so I assumed it belonged here forgive if I'm wrong and point me in the right direction.

Went to see Dr Fang today, and was quoted the following for treatment.

Root Treatment £150
Cast Core and post £55
Bridge @ £220 per unit £720
Total £925

Do them prices seem excessive to anyone who's had a bridge fitted before?

Seems pretty reasonable to me. I've certainly seen prices way more expensive than that.

How does it feel to you?
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.
  • Ahh txs, I had no idea as to the price it should be hence the reason for asking on here.

Well seeing as I'm not currently working at the moment (long story) it seems bloody expensive :) but I'm quite young and it's the front side teeth so better to sort it with a bridge than have a big gap and look a complete turd imo.

Treatment starts in 2 weeks, does the treatment hurt anymore than having a nasher pulled out? as I'm a big wus when it comes to dr fang :)
