Anyone have any recent experiences with selling on ASOS Market place?
I can only see oldish threads.
I'm looking to sell some of my choice, high end vintage clothes but cant bear the idea of listing them at 99p on Ebay - Are they a good Option?
What about Etsy UK? Anyone given them ago as a seller?

I have never used ASOS Marketplace but have been a seller on Etsy.
My experience with Etsy has been good, I thought it was expensive at the time but now I look, it doesn't seem that bad. Charges are in dollars, you can list your shop in £'s by making sure your location is set to the UK and British Pound but if you ship worldwide the person will see it in their own currency.
My items were for charity each costing between £2.50 and £4 each (+£3 postage) plus one custom order of £44. I made around £100 for 1 and half months selling (I had 10-15 items) and my total charges were $8.45 which is about £5. You are charged I think its 20cent for each item listed then if you list an item with variations (multiple items on one listing) each time one item is purchased it charges you again (20c) for automatically re-listing the others. You are also charged per transaction - not sure how that works but according to my Etsy bill my custom order of £44 had a $2.56 transaction charge.
I had two US orders, they were very easy - no difference to UK purchases apart from struggling to get the postage right. My custom order was for the US, I had slight issues working out the correct price (+ postage) as we had agreed on a price before I made the listing. Entering it in £s on the listings page and making sure it worked out on the final listing in $s for the buyer was a pain.. but then I found an easier way by making my own currency $s - some bits you learn as you do.
It's all paypal, the item listing section isn't too complicated, it looks pretty without too much effort and customers can contact you easily.
A lot of my customers were my twitter followers, a few said they did not like using Etsy and requested items be listed else where but other than that customers did not report any issues.
I've only really been a seller for a total of 4 months as I only sell from the end of October to the beginning of December each year so I'm maybe missing some important bits!
I hope that helps.0
