  • Hey Elfy.

    Found you!

I love your list idea -it's great.

Seriously, crack on with watching GoT. It's fab! I reckon you'll get to a point where you get so enthralled you'll end up watching loads of episodes in one go. That's what happened with me! I

What do you have to count your steps? I tried doing this a while back, and bought a cheap stepometer on ebay. It was a total waste of money - didn't work at all!

#19 made me chuckle. I have a drawer full of either empty notebooks or notebooks with a few pages used then nothing. I need to find a use for them all!

    Hi FU =)

I nicked the idea from the thread in my beginning post.
This last week has made me realise I need to change a few things/add a few extras.

Yeah, I'm really getting into GoT. We've decided to watch it together, so Sunday afternoons when I'm finished work for the day, we chill out and watch an episode. Unfortunately we're having problems watching more than 1 episode a night because I tend to fall asleep haha.

I have an official WW pedometer to count my steps. I used to use it all the time properly when I first started WW. It counts activity points when you walk a certain amount of steps, and when you change it to activity mode, for when you do the likes of gym classes and workouts, it'll count down movement and every 6 minutes of exercise (on high activity, which I count classes like Zumba and Body Combat as) you earn another point.
Although I'm not really sticking with points atm, I still like wearing it. Especially as I don't have a watch atm and it keeps the time.

It cost a fair bit to start with (about £17), but I definitely use it. And if you have any problems with it (within a certain amount of time of course), you can send it off to them and they'll look at repairing or replacing it.

And notebooks is such a problem. They all look so pretty.
And I'm just too scared to write in them sometimes in case I mess them up lol.

    Ok.
So a week ago today I created a list of goals for 2014.
The last week has shown that there's some things that weren't quite right on there. Stuff that wasn't/isn't working for me right now.
So I'm altering it slightly and have added a few extra bits and pieces.

I don't think I've done too bad keeping track of my goals by updating on here every day (or when I can for each day) for the last week, so hopefully this will continue.

The new set of goals will be in the next post (to make it easier for me to quote and edit instead of having to delete extra writing =)

WW just isn't working for me at the moment.
So I'm going to stop putting pressure on myself to go every week, and just a 4 weekly update.
I will be measuring myself on my own scales every Wednesday. My scales weigh in kg, which is why I put the kg measurement on there.
And instead of restricting myself with WW points, I'm just going to cut out cakes, biscuits and snacking for now.

And I don't drink nearly enough water. I know you're supposed drink about 1.6l for women and 2l for men, but for me, just drinking 1 litre is a challenge. I just don't feel the need to drink. If I drink too much, it settles in my stomach and jiggles. But I'm going to give it a go.
Especially as I'm planning on upping my exercise with the C25k programme 3 times a week.

But hey... this is my plan for this week.
I might end up adding and/or changing again this time next week.
But who says these goals are set in stone?
They're there for me to aim towards in 2014, but if I have to change something to make it easier to achieve or it's too easy achieve, then so be it.
    They're mine.

Thanks to everyone that's stopped by, and to those that have commented.
If you have any goals like this, please feel free to post them, or post a link to them.
Would love to know how you're getting on =)

    Nope
    02. Drink at least 1 litre of water per day.
Nope. I am HATING drinking all this water. It makes me uncomfortable and wee about 4000 times than normal - and I wee a lot as it is
    03. Weight 9st/57kg
Naughtily stepped on the scales this morning - shouldn't weigh myself daily, I know that - but said 66.6kg. Perhaps eaten a little more than I should've cuz I've been hungry, but I've been mindful about what I have been eating - fat free yogurts/fruit etc instead of cakes and biscuits.
    04. No biscuits or cake for rest of April.
    Resisted so far
    05. Walk at least 10000 steps per day.
Just. 10044. Went out for a 15 minute walk about an hour ago to try and up my steps.

This potentially could happen tomorrow, depending on whether I was in time with my induction for tesco cut off and payday would be tomorrow. Will find out tomorrow, but highly unlikely. Will probably be another 4 weeks from now instead.
