  • I was in the some situation, they got money from my account. Only today I can confirm who take it. I called this companie after found their web site. Their custumer service told me I applied for that. I never hear this companie name, the shut the call. But I will go to the last instance to get my money back.

Just for the sake of clarity then, and to help others avoid the same situation, could you please post the name of the website where you did enter your details so we can have a look at it?

    Thanks.

If I could, then I would, I think I started on PaydayUK and then before I knew it I had constant texts and emails from about 30 different companies. I don't know who's got my details at this point! It's ridiculous.

But you do accept that you gave your bank details to a number of companies?

This alone is enought to prevent you getting your bank charges paid.

That's fair enough, and all I needed to know.

Wow, a lot of people on here are extremely hostile. It was a simple question, I have not tried to deny that I've done anything and I've told you the full story. If I won't get it back, then fine. At least I know now... could've saved a lot of time if people had just said that in the first place and not gotten personal!

    Hello Starsaprt.
be aware that it's easy for people to type 'you fool' but don't take it to heart.
    Good luck.

It's okay, I'm not a sensitive person - I can handle it. But I just think people need to realise that there are other people on this website who are very vulnerable, and not in a situation to be able to deal with people trying to belittle them, and imply that they are idiots when they come on here for advice.

I really do believe in 'if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all'. In some ways, the people who consider themselves superior to others on this website, and think that it's acceptable to post stupid comments are just as bad as these websites - preying on people who are in a vulnerable situation.

Thank God I'm not one of those people or I could be quite upset right now :D

If you deal with the dregs of lenders this is the sort of thing that happens.

I'm not saying it's right and I'm pretty confident you'll get your money back if you complain, but just be aware of this sort of thing in the future before you willingly give away your details.

If you absolutely must take out a PDL, try to use the most reputable ones.

I definitely do not want a payday loan now! It was only because I needed new tyres and it was a week until I got paid!

Never mind :) I've learnt my lesson! Thanks.

Why don't you report this as an authorised transaction to your bank and get your money back?

That's what I did when I found two unauthorised T-Mobile tops up on my statement.

Thanks, but I don't actually want a payday loan :) it was just an option I was considering as I needed new tyres before payday, but now I know what a mess they cause I'm not that up for it anymore...
