Shop Direct Finance sold debt - letter template to write to them

Hi guys,

I was made bankrupt in July 2011 and today I've had a letter from a company called Shop Direct Finance Company Limited telling me they've sold my outstanding debt to MKDP LLP.

Firstly I don't even know what this debt is as I've never heard of the company I apparently have the debt with. Secondly as I was made bankrupt after the date the debt was transferred (4/10/2010) I know this is covered under the bankruptcy.

So I was wondering if there's a letter template I can use to send to both parties to make them aware of the fact I'm bankrupt and this is covered under that.

And is it true that it's against the law for these companies to be chasing me after I've been made bankrupt.

Thanks.
