During the first 11 days of May, Bristol will host a city-wide food festival to celebrate everything we love about food. Bristol Food Connections will be launched by BBC Radio 4's Food and Farming Awards. This prestigious night will be happening in Bristol for the first time and you can be in the audience.
At the heart of the festival will be the BBC's purpose built site located in the stunning Waterfront Square on the city's harbourside. Visitors can come to see television chefs from the BBC's best loved cooking shows, including MasterChef's John Torode, stars from the Bake Off series, as well as family favourites from Tom Kerridge to Ken Hom.
Children and their families will also be able to see some of their favourite CBBC and CBeebies stars, from Mr Bloom, Rastamouse and Katy Ashworth to Stefan Gates with his explosive Gastronaut Live!
In addition, there will be plenty of family-friendly fun in our hands-on activity tents based around making sense of flavour, quirky food science and eating like a sports-star.
How do I get tickets?
Everything is free and you don't need a ticket to access the site, which opens fully on Saturday 3 May 2014. However, due to anticipated demand, some of the most popular cooking demonstrations, stage shows and all radio shows will require free, pre-allocated tickets which you will need to apply for via this site.
Please note under 18's must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All children aged two and over require a ticket.
