Quizonaut Credit card cloned ?

Any of you use Quizonaut ? I had an email calling me Philomena and charging me for membership.

Also had a text from my credit card company saying that they detected fraud on my account.

Small payments taken this morning included the Quizonaut, Napster and some school thing.

Very worried as I am mega careful with my card online.

Did you sign up to their points scheme? I didn't think you needed to put any details in on it?

Thanks JessicAhh I have emailed Quizonaut and they assure me everything from their end has been cancelled too.

I'm just totally baffled as I very rarely buy online.

It's just totally bizarre that you got the payment for a comping site that you've used?! How odd... And that the payment was associated with your email address. When that's happened to me in the past, they've used their own email address.

The whole thing is very bizarre and worrying. :eek:

I've just run a malware scan, antivirus, CC cleaner, cleared all my cache and browsing history and changed passwords too.

No... never .. :eek:

I don't use Roboform. only Google Chrome which fills in most of the forms for me.

Any other form fillers that might have picked up your credit card details as auto fills? The automatic one on Safari tries to pick up my card details, if I'm not careful.

Hopefully, the problem should be stopped now you've cancelled your card.
