Hi, wondered if any of you brainy property types on here can help me.
Im currently lookin to buy a house with the missus, we have seen the house we want but its empty/ boarded up etc and i dont know where to start.
I did a land register thing and spoke to the people who used to own it who have gone bankrupt and left the house months ago and dont know who owns it etc, any ideas where i should start or do i hang on for it to come up for sale i'd like to get a head start and make an offer before it even went up for sale. Is this poss or am i just bein stoooopid !!

If the land registry is still showing the property as belonging to the people you spoke to, then you could try asking them who their mortgage lender was then enquire from them.
