Hello ive just been back to my old address to find 2 letters from this company. one form the 5 march and a notice of attendance letter dated 27 march.
I haven't lived at the address for 4 months now and only went back to check if I had a letter from my local hospital as Im yet to receive my results from an mri scan
Any way one letter says I ow £165 from a debt I was told was being paid threw deductions to my income support. As this is the first ive herd that this fine was left to pay its come as a complete shock... then I opened another letter telling me I ow £380 for the same fine because they came to my old empty address.
I have the £165 no problems what so ever but am I obliged to pay the extra fees for attendance even tho I haven't lived at the property for 4 months and had no idea I owed this money to any one

You thought this was being paid through direct deduction from income support.
Can you check what deductions you have from your income support and what they are paying for? You'll need to ring the DWP and listen to music for a few minutes.
Is this a Magistrates Court fine?
It could be that they applied for deductions but you are already up to the limit.0 -
