I'm in the process of selling my house and moving in with my Girlfriend and her young daughter. We would both like to buy a place for ourselves rather than rent. Two years ago my Girlfriend declared herself bankrupt (before we first met). Does anyone have an idea what limitation this would have on us getting a mortgage? Assuming I have to get the mortgage in my name would my Girlfriends wage be taken into account as "other income"? Would my mortgage amount be based on my income alone?
Thanks in advance

Very tricky.
Your girlfriend almost certainly cannot be involved in any mortgage application.
