My youngest son is 16 and has 2 years left in full time education. Im not in the slightest bit bothered if it annoys my x wife. She is an x for a reason. The children would always be looked after, one of the reasons i want to buy my own home is so the kids can stay with me because for the last 6 years I've been renting with no room for them to stay. Obviously I'm not going into the nitty gritty of what went on between me and my x wife but i left that house with nothing and for the last 6 years she has had the luxury of living in her own house while i have had to start my life again which i have now done, so forgive me for wanting to get my own mortgage with my new wife and 3 month old daughter. I had no idea that this would open up a can of worms, when i called the lender i was seeking information as this is not something I've ever dealt with before.
