This is a thank you to all the very helpful posters on this site.
I was in financial turmoil 7 years ago.
So the 6 year period has now passed & due to advice on who uses
Who and selecting who I applied to for credit I have finally got back to
Main stream banking and credit. Done the vanquis and aqua steps for a year mobile phone and barclays cash card as it shows as a current account at experian. I applied 6 months ago for a 123 current account
Complete with a 123 credit card.
I was accepted for both and even got a 6k limit on the credit card !!
So as this has been running for a while thought I would apply for a
Nationwide flex plus and select credit card went through the soft search process and bingo got the flex plus account and select card.
Credit card came back at 12.9 and 6500 limit. So no more applications for me now and no more spending what I can't pay back in full every month. For your information with all the above products
Experian was the only agency used. So once again I would like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I did not understand the system at all but by following the advice of posters the ones we all know on here know their stuff I'm back to having a good clean credit
File and mainstream products THANK YOU AGAIN

    Debt-free and Proud!
glad you are happy, I don't understand the system either!!

why are you applying for more credit? are you still in debt and looking for better rates?

now I don't have debt except mortgage I just have a Santander 123 cashback account and their cashback CC which I only use for petrol, pay off in full every month and get the cashback.

I thought the more available credit you had/the more CC's the worse it looks?

sorry if I've misunderstood, I often do :)
