Hi. I used to be in the army serving 5 years from 2004 to 2009. I am 26 years old and I now work in the NHS. I contributed to my pension in both jobs. What my question is, Can i claim for the pension i contributed to when i was in the Army? or is the Army and NHS pension the same pot?
If i can claim my Army pension without it affecting my NHS pension, how do i go about doing that?
Thanks
Dave
(Sorry for repeat the words NHS and Army, just trying to be clear )

You can claim your army pension once you reach the scheme retirement age.
If you have moved, contact them and give them your current address and ask for an up to date statement. It will be growing each year with indexation.0 -
