Anyone know how to clean dvds and cds without using shop bought wipes?

a slightly damp tissue might do it but i wouldnt use any household chemicals.
why do they need cleaning though? just handle them carefully.0 -
My DD has a horrible habit of handling her DVDs with messy fingers, then leaving them to dry so I am a dab hand with crusty DVDs and CDs. I usually spray them lightly with my bottle of stardrops and water solution, then wipe them with a soft cloth. I suspect you probably don't need the stardrops in the mix if you are nervous about using chemicals, but it hasn't done mine any harm, and it is easy to use it when you are cleaning the rest of the room with the same stuff.0
