Can I ask an opinion from you knowledgeable people. I have a degree in marketing and it is something I enjoy and have been successful with.

A lot of items I see out there are just not branded and marketed correctly.

Here's a scenario (although one I'm not considering) - say I bought a muffin from a wholesaler and added icing or something to it and sold it in it's own packaging as Monster Fairy Cake Co. - what laws could I be breaking, if any?

Thanks

Would not a better solution be to offer your services in rebranding and remarketing, at an agreed price?
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

    Hi stebiz

You wouldn't be breaking any laws - although, if your real plan involved working with foodstuffs you would have to adhere to very strict hygene regulations.

In fact, very many businesses are based on buying cheap generic products (from China etc) and branding and/or adding value to them.

An obvious example is t-shirts. People buy low-cost plain t-shirts, and print witty slogans etc on them, and re-sell them.
