Hi, Im currently new to this forum and hoping you guys and ladies may help me.

Im currently wanting to pay of my loan with my bank which originally started out from a £2800.

Im currently out standing by £868 and a few pence. I want to pay this off in full but i occur a early settlement fee off 125.65 or something. See below for numbers and information

Original loan amount:£2,800.00
Original loan term: 18
Opening date of loan:19 Jul 2013
Monthly loan repayment amount:£180.22
Next loan repayment date:28 Apr 2014
Remaining term (months):5

Amount outstanding (including interest due to the end of your loan) [?] £2002.07
Early settlement rebate [?] £122.09
Total amount to settle your loan (amount outstanding less early settlement rebate) [?] £1879.98

If i paid off 700 or the something like that and then left the balance at my current monthly charges would they pay me for a early resettlement fee that way?

I hope this makes sense.

Thank you in advance for any help i get on this :A

Your post has conflicting figures. Not entirely clear what you want to know.
  • If you make an overpayment there is no early settlement fee.

Basically I have remaining off my £2800 loan £868 to pay off.

So if i pay £690 which will leave the loan at £178 and let that go through last of D.D will i miss out on the early settlement fees?
