    Took it to a repairer and they fixed it for £45. They said it was the circuit or something. It's now been running happily for two months.

    oh good! I have a Rotary watch I bought back in 1998 and its my favourite. it has only had one new strap and I don't wear it all the time (my Sekonda is my everyday watch) but its keeping excellent time still.
