Hello
I am posting this on behalf of my mum. My mum recently won some vouchers for £170 worth of vouchers for this website :j http://treatme.co.uk/experiences/open-gift-voucher however, they are unfortunately of no use to her due to our current circumstances, she's hoping to sell them on; however eBay has decided to not allow vouchers over £100 to be sold... I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere she could sell them safely?:A
many thanks!

Wow, I didn't realise you could sell vouchers at all on eBay...! Good to know...
What about through a local newspaper / FreeAds? I'm not sure about online, sorry.
ETA - yes, Gumtree is a good idea - although can be a bit untrustworthy, but just go into any conversations / transactions with caution and you'll be fine
Also, she could always split them up - £100 + £70 if they are given as separate vouchers. If they are a gift code, bear in mind that it may be linked to her postcode, as a way to stop her transferring them to someone else.0 -
I'm reading what you said as the value of the vouchers mustn't be over £100, rather than the amount you ask for those vouchers. Is that right?
If so, then is it possible to split the vouchers? So sell £100 worth, and then sell £70?
If it's one voucher for £170, could you take to the shop and see if you can exchange it for two vouchers for the combined amount? Or buy something for £5.00 and ask for change in gift vouchers that you can sell over two auctions?
Yeah I have a criminal mind. But thankfully, that's not illegal

I used to work for a Company that gave vouchers as prizes and they monitored selling sites for people selling them, so just be aware of that.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

Yet... The NSA are probably watching your forum postings as I type, Blu :rotfl:
Just had a peek at the site - as they sell items, your mum could always buy a selection to that value, and sell them on eBay.
I'm ashamed - I had to look up what the NSA was:D Good thing I didn't mention the REALLY criminal thing I thought of doing.

Lucky, as I don't think that the Treat Me site sells any of those cyanide tablets to chew on, like the spies had in the war, in case of capture
I think it looks like a smallish company: I'd not heard of them before... So I wonder if a) they'd be more likely to look, as Sue suggested, and b) people wouldn't be interested in buying the vouchers as much as buying things bought with them (very difficult for the company to track, as the gifts are generic - as long as you don't mention where they're from in the ebay listing).0 -
thanks people
I appreciate it
