Haha I was hopping mad last night! Check my typing in caps and non caps.

To cf credit they did fix the problem, the silly author flagged me even though I was expelled on my first go! In the end it was their fault as the link was for the wrong site, so the question was wrong

Luckily I had sent cf a message before I was flagged complaining of expulsion, with the link etc.

The only annoying thing is that they kept saying you are on level 2 when I am 1% away from 80%

Ahh so glad it was sorted so promptly - makes a blinking change!!! Have you checked if you can access any level 2 jobs? Sometimes the accuracy percentages don't matter. I know someone below the 85% and yet they are still level 3 :)

Also, to everyone else - thanks for all the kind words :)

How can I check level 2 jobs are still greyed out for me.

I was really surprised that cf got back to me so quickly, considering you and a few others were waiting 3 monthson that.

I have just remembered why I may have been flagged, in the comments I put something along the lines of: your lying! oh look the first answer is CAMPING!!!!!!

Hahaha I was well irate, can they really flag you if you were expelled? that's what I want to know, just seems a bit pointless.

So how can we see your blog now katy? i'd like to have a look.

I got a major flag a couple of weeks ago - I immediately asked why - it was an image task that I'd got 96% accuracy on. The reply came that I'd put too many 'image didn't load'. I vaguely remembered that there had been quite a few so I replied saying so, and pointing out that if they looked at my stats I worked carefully and asking why would I start messing about with one task - and that maybe there was a problem with my download speed or something, but that I had answered the questions honestly. Slightly to my surprise a few days later the flag was removed and my levels restored. So they do listen to reason.

However, to me it suggests there is a problem with the flag system - it seems ludicrous that a task author should have such power. I would have thought that a fairer (and better system for CF) would be that authors a) have to provide an explanation of why a flag has been given at the time b) that the effect of the flag is only applied once the worker has had a chance to respond and c) that flags (or their effects) are removed after some time, say 6 months - otherwise one flag permanently stops a worker doing most of the tasks, which is excessive.

If they are greyed out you don't currently have access, also you can see your current level on your CF dashboard.

The problems I had with level 3 weren't because I was flagged on a job, it was a glitch in the system so wasn't easily fixed unfortunately. Would've been nice :rotfl:

Yes they can flag you if you were expelled, maybe they took offence to your comment, seems a bit petty of them! :rotfl: I've probably wrote worse!

Erm, it is in my 'about me' if you click on my profile here on MSE :) It is a work in progress and likely won't tell you anything you don't already know ;)

You've got some very good points here! Definitely don't think the authors should have such power.
