Very quick n easy PL survey (tickbox) on watching sport throughout summer at work 50 cents.

Apologies if this a repeat of VG's mention, I wasn't online yesterday PM.:)

A quick PL survey on movies for 50 cents - had to refresh at the end in order to receive credit.

    Morning all :)
Am I right in thinking, the best time to cash out $USD is when its very very low against the £GBP ?..
Because I was just looking on my phone at exchanges, and USD finished last night on the lowest its been all YEAR to the £GBP.
So now would be good to move it, right?..
    Cheers all

The true USD to GBP rate means NOTHING to Paypal. It was 0.608 £ per dollar but the rate is now down to 0.567 at present, this was as of last night, meaning I'm losing about £2 for every $50 I cashout now compared to around 6 months ago when the rate was higher.

Paypal set their own rates, I'm sure there is some spiel on their website about how they base their rates but I have found that they consistently raise a fraction and then drop more the next time they fall. Before we know it they will probably give 0.50 £ to the $.

With regards to cashing out from Clixsense if you want to you could cashout regularly and then check the rate once per day, week etc whatever you want. The rate changes once per 24 hours, I believe, but I'm not 100% on that.

Edited to add - morning also :) Few PL surveys going, including a nice new tickbox one :)

Ah ok never knew that about paypal.
Although had wondered why I seemed to find a better exchange rate before I withdrew from paypal, than I actually received..
So paypal has a semi fixed rate, regardless of what the actual is. Thats mean!!! lol
Will have to look at the other money transfer firms I think later.

Unfortunately they can make their own rules really, as my friend said yesterday they really make 3 lots of money out of eBay sellers these days through their various fees too, terrible really, but not much we can do hey!

I personally just cash out each time and withdraw right away, I used to wait but I lost about £30 eventually as the rate just kept on dropping and dropping.

Just echoing what others have said, I don't think its a good idea to save up money in paypal either, they are not a bank.

I'm so glad the roof tasks are back, it feels like forever since they've been there!

Hope everyone's OK, I haven't been on for weeks and ages, hardly made $10 in the past four weeks.
