A number of 'analyse the sentiments of these tweets' tasks have just appeared, however, all the test questions seem to be about a completely different movie (300). I've decided not to try them, has anyone else had a go and succeeded/failed?

I've opened a ticket to CF to explain the issue, hopefully they will amend the instructions or source of the tweets and offer them again as I rather like these sorts of tasks!

Well that's annoying, turns out there's a limit to the 'Deal Search Results Relevance' task, 438 (weird number!), and there's not a lot else that I can do tasks wise, might actually have to try that damned hotel task again.

    New blog announcement.

    CrowdFlower Community
Tune in Tuesday: What’s coming next?
We are working on it! The CrowdFlower engineers are working hard to bring you the most optimized tasking experience online!

As part of an initiative to make our process more transparent, we want to keep you posted on upcoming updates every two weeks on Tuesday…Tune in Tuesday! Not all the updates will be big, but we want to make sure to keep you up to date on all the minor and major changes that may or may not affect you directly.

The following items are what we are working on:

Changes planned for the next couple weeks:

Level Eligibility / Job History Page Update
As part of our continuing effort to clearly message the requirements for earning each Performance Level Badge, we will soon be updating the Job History page to clearly display some of the 'Other Factors' that determine your eligibility.

In the near future, your Job History page will include a new column labeled ‘Flags.’ Flags indicate that one of our customers (TaskAuthors) has questioned the overall quality of the work you submitted on their Job and would like it reviewed. If you receive a Flag on a Job, there is a good chance that your Level Badge will be removed and thus you will lose access to the corresponding Jobs.

You will be able to see exactly which Jobs you were flagged on as well as an indication of whether that Flag was Minor (Yellow) or Major (Red). The severity of each Flag is determined by the individual TaskAuthor, not CrowdFlower admins.

There will be cases in which a Flag may occur in error. As a result, you will be able to dispute Flags you find unfair and the Community Support Team will review your work on that Job.

Below is a mock of what the upcoming Job History page might look like. We will keep you updated as more details become available.

    Changes still in progress:

    Level Change Notifications
We are implementing a feature that will allow us to send you a notification email whenever you achieve a new level. - 4/29/14, Tune in Tuesday

    Quiz Mode and Job Availability
Have you ever received the ‘No More Work Available’ error after having to learn all of the instructions to pass Quiz Mode? With our upcoming changes, passing Quiz Mode will guarantee you at least one Task in Work Mode (additional Tasks in the job depends on availability) - 5/13/14, Tune in Tuesday

Level 3, have you been doing the same task out of interest?

Nope, good old redirect error got me on that one (first time ever I've had that problem too!)

I've been doing the search match one, that is 4C. I've not done any tasks yet today, just casinos which I had to raise tickets for, so not sure what is around yet x

I saw that CF announcement about authors being able to flag people for poor work and get levels removed.

I can only foresee a complete disaster! Given the track record of task authors at generating absurdly wrong test questions, although this will eliminate people who aren't doing tasks properly it will also wipe out people who are just unlucky or the victims of poorly prepared tests. I hope that CF support is prepared for a tsunami of complaints, tickets and requests for reviews, because I suspect these would multiply tenfold overnight.

How many people work hard and carefully to gain levels and then go bonkers and just try and speed through tasks once they've got to a stage where the tasks are worth it?

There should also be a flag system for authors, from users! At the very least, any task where more than a certain percentage of workers get the test questions wrong should automatically be excluded from these new calculations.
