I've had that one too i put it in home services.

i'm doing tasks inbetween other stuff nice to have a regular task i suppose this is what katy and VG get being level 3 they can task all day on and off.

I just got booted from the daily deals task for my accuracy being too low —!entirely because of the answers being incorrect. One was for the one-night resort deal, which according to the instructions should be marked as local but the 'answer' is national. The other was a kids DVD collection which I put in the Kids category as instructed but apparently should have gone in Entertainment (which specifically says not to put DVD collections in there!).

So frustrating!

Thanks Katy, I have gone back and read it, I understand it t be the test questions are within the tasks, so even if I complete 100 tasks, I may have not completed 100% test questions correctly.

I am only 4 away from having completed 100 tasks, cant believe this week I have been allowed to do so many! done 60 over the past 2 days, so stuff is definatley unlocking.

I was also allowed to do some casino tasks this morning for some strange reason.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but...

Not all tasks contain test questions. Some jobs which do seem to are the categorising of tasks, roof visibility and categorising sentences ones. The quiz questions you have to pass to actually do the task don't count, but the ones they 'hide' inside the tasks do (so maybe one in every 2 or 3 tasks might have a test question in it).

If you go to your Crowdflower overview page you'll see your stats: Jobs, Tasks and Accuracy. If you hover your mouse over accuracy it'll tell you how many test questions you've done and how many were answered correctly. I'm on 118 jobs, 153 tasks and 100% accuracy (19 test questions). I don't think this includes the ones I've done today.

The only grey area for me is that they say "non CrowdFlower Official tasks" don't count. Anyone care to explain that one?

you will find casino tasks are still there in the morning when they were out at 1-3am i would find quite afew still available when i logged on after 6am. They do usually go quite quickly so if i didn't do them within afew minutes after logging on they would disappear. I did afew this morning also but no 21c

I'm still in the daily deals task just taking my time they are now at just under 6000 so only going down slowly.

I did get credited, but very slowly, like 20 mins after.

it was around 2am when I logged on, so there wasn't loads!

I've done quite afew tasks over the past two days but my accuracy rating hasn't moved still the same number of questions answered correctly so i'm a little confused as to what counts towards this number.
I'm not sure what constiitues as an official CF task but i assume its something thats done inhouse perhaps someone in CF has created this task for a client ? while non official tasks are just wholly done by the client so might be unreliable so these tasks aren't used for our accuracy rating no idea if this correct its just an idea.

If you completed 100 tasks and all of your tasks with accuracy of 100% then all test questions would have been answered correctly, you could've had 1 or you could've had 100 test questions, this means you'd have 100% accuracy overall for your test questions, obviously over time this drops as you get some wrong/they fail to amend accuracy etc but you seem to be getting how they work



To anyone else wondering... Crowdflower official jobs are what has been mentioned here... Jobs that are created by someone at Crowdflower, so generally jobs that go up between their business hours of around 9-5. Clients can code and create their own jobs but Crowdflower supposedly don't count these towards accuracy.

Given all the problems I'm having lately (not having access to jobs I should have access to as a level 3 and having my messages ignored) I would not be surprised at all if they do count some of them, and lets face it, some of them are dire! I've accuracy of 92% and I know that the majority of official Crowdflower jobs I either have no errors on or they fix them very quick.

Also, to answer older_wiser (I think?) yes we can usually task on and off for all or most of the day, hence the big earnings. So happy to see that lots of people are getting lots of tasks.

Remember to try and help others where you can when asking questions too, nice for everyone to help one another (I Know lots of people are mainly a message for people just joining the thread etc)>
