Just done a quick and easy survey on snacking, it was really badly worded, kept saying when did you took these chips? etc, submitted and it suddenly didn't need my info, I cant even be bothered to be annoyed, very bizarre.Lose 28lb 3/28lb

I wasn't getting much luck from the CF CS so i decided to contact technical support got a reply within hrs this evening saying it was the wrong department but they did agree i was having problems and hoped they were resolved quickly and giving me a email link to support i copied and paste my original email and reponse and within hrs i am now level 2.
No idea if this is a mistake though
edit
No mistake just got an email from brian and apologising and thanking me for such a candid email and explaining the problems CF are having I can only task via clixsense though and its a workaround for an ongoing problem with certain accounts but i'm a very happy chap
Yayyyyyyy!!!! :T
Congrats Older_Wiser :-D Soooo glad you found someone who could help.
I'm still waiting to get sorted, but I spoke to someone via the test question writer team. He looked at my account and thinks that based on what he sees I should qualify. He's referred my accounts for independent analysis and thinks it might take a couple of days. I won't be able to access level tasks via Swagbucks though, because thats where the issue lies for me. It flagged a couple of tasks as being accessed via a US IP... I cannot see how that could have ever happened, I'm clueless about proxies, and they agree that its obvious I don't fit the profile of the kind of activity these things are trying to catch (People who try to access tasks available in other countries) - I've only done tasks that are available to me here in the UK, so i would have no reason or advantage to use a proxy... but unfortunately the 'flag' is permanent on swagbucks...
I can't help wonder if there's a glitch with swagbucks... if all these people were stuck on 0% because of getting flagged there for a problem with their site?
Maybe if you got sorted so fast, I might see my badge appear later today... $3 without any casino or investment tasks sounds fab!Swagbucks since 28 Jan £125 ~//~ Various Research Projects £230 ~//~ Clixsense since 3 Mar $488.52 ~//~ (Total £365 + $488.52)0 -

Strangely having a lot of weird marking today pop up.
"For the question titled " " you answered: "Yes" but the correct answer was: "No".
The reason for this is: "Lot is defined as a large number of objects. In this case, the image shows a pile of needles so "lot" is an acceptable keyword in this case."
But umm, marked wrong? Okay.. lol
How do people become markers. Anyone know? Im thinking you get drunk then offered the post lol
Those test questions are sometimes ridiculous aren't they?
You might not have seen this info I posted on the last thread about test questions. I spent ages reading the client side of Crowdflowers website to get a better understanding of how it works... This is what I learned about how test questions are done:
Test Questions: There's actually two ways that test questions are made.
The first way is that the 'correct' answer is provided by the client who built the task. (The majority seem to be done this way because the whole client side of the website is geared towards teaching clients how to upload answers, build explanations & instructions etc)
The second way is more complicated & might be used by the client to save time on their part - Test questions are built through 'the wisdom of the crowd, so to speak. So if, for example, four people, who have a high 'trusted' accuracy level opt for answer A, but one person opts for B... the test question becomes "Correct answer=A". They use a formula to ascertain confidence levels based on the aggragate of answers and the accuracy levels of the people involved. So essentially this means that a task can accumulate more test questions dotted throughout the task as it proceeds.
But its not infallible at all... because those 'trusted' contributors might become 'untrusted' over the course of the task by getting other test questions wrong, which adjusts their % in real time, and therefore adjusts the 'confidence level' of their answer in those test questions. So accuracy get adjusted automatically at the end of the task if you were marked wrong by what turned out to be inaccurate responders.
It's important to note, 'trusted' contributor on a task is not based on global accuracy, but only your performance on that task... so someone might do well on the quiz mode questions, are regarded 'trusted' and then only do a handful of the task questions, and never stay in the task long enough to be properly judged for their accuracy which might not be all that great overall - thats why its worth raising tickets to draw attention to tasks that might be using bad judgement as a benchmark. And some jobs on a task can be tricky and trip up the majority of accurate people too... like those rooftop ones where the pool has been drained & not obvious, or the googlemap view shows solar panels that aren't on the main pic.
In addition to that, I recall that the platform they use means that a spreadsheet can be uploaded by a client with all the correct answers to correspond to the numbered tasks - it only takes one field to be skipped/empty for all the rest of the answers to be badly aligned/mismatch (So explanation doesn't match answer)
There was also a 'Test Question Creator' skills test - last year and again recently, so the ones who passed last year would possibly be writing test questions by now. Not the recent people though, as someone presumed, because they do get trained first, and its such a nice perk I doubt anyone would want to risk getting dropped for shoddy work.I wouldn't be surprised if the 'Official Crowdflower' questions are the ones written by a combination of Contributor Writers and Staff.
Hope that helps. And hope these test questions get a bit better... It can quite annoying to get bumped out of a task for good work.

Thats exactly what brian said in the email there is an ongoing problem with other websites and tasking ie neobux and SB thats why i can only task via clixsense but i don't mind as i don't use the other sites to task.
It does look like there is a problem and people are being held back due to incorrect ip addresses i have only done afew tasks on SB and i mean a handful less than 5 and neobux about 6 which were tiwtter. Perhaps thats why they could review mine in just afew hours. Good that its being looked into and hopefully it will be resolved for you racehl
I made nearly 6 dollars in three hours just with tasking inclduing casino yesterday so almost the same as a usual day with surveys so its promising and hopefully it will remain so. still doing the surveys but once i've done them i can do tasking.

I've not done very many tasks on swagbucks either - all from a couple of weeks in February- casino & investment ones, a rooftop, categorise sentences- (same old ones I can access anyway) and they're only a tiny proportion of total tasks I've done. If you've only done 5 tasks & they've even been flagged then SB has got to have serious issues going on?!
Fingers crossed CS never get this problem because thats the only place I intend to task too.
They are going to independently review my CS and Gifthulk accounts, but the guy I spoke to didn't see any issues on those, whereas he did see the issue on Swagbucks, so *fingers crossed* it all sounds positive.
GREAT that you went straight to Level 2 as well! Thats amazing! Now that you have more tasks at your disposal, you'll be Level 3 in no time! :TSwagbucks since 28 Jan £125 ~//~ Various Research Projects £230 ~//~ Clixsense since 3 Mar $488.52 ~//~ (Total £365 + $488.52)0 -
